What have I been doing? Where to start?
Right here …
My late uncle ambiguously said about me when I popped out:
"This one's born with a pencil."
And rightly so, I've been drawing ever since. Cartoons, illustrations, sketches … for which I soon developed my own styles.
That was until music came along.
I listened, and I listened good. I listened to Zappa, Tull, Genesis, Yes, Vai, …
and to some unknown avant-garde artists and contemporary music.
I picked up the guitar when I was fifteen but I was a slow learner.
I never succeeded in playing standards, so - as well as in art - I was developing a strict personal style. One recurring thing people used to say about my music was that it had filmic or epic character. So eventually I left out those dreadful lyrics. It was only until 2009 when I assembled some old and recent stuff to put it out on CD.
