A Singer songwriter that sings from the heart, that is what you hear. A voice that will make you cry and laugh at the same time. She has the rare gift of reflecting her true emotions.
Marieke Lightband is a talent ready to be discovered. She sings how she wants and feels, which makes her style uncomparable and undefinable. Her life's journey has passed many cultures and genres of music and introduced her to different styles. She is still developing her own. Follow her journey and be mesmorised!
Starting at age 4 with violin created for her a foundation. She used these techniques and implemented it on the guitar and instinctaniously started composing and singing. She found her true passion!
Her international roots (New Zealand father, Belgian Mother) have taken her all over the world and help shape her to the musician she is today.
