Brief Intro:
Hello! My Name Is Jodi Ann. I am a singer/songwriter from Nashville,TN. I have been writing music since I was 12 years old. I came through a rough childhood and somehow I managed my feelings in music. I have led a full life with hardly a dull moment.

Where I am and Where I want to go:

In 2007, I met a man in Nashville who jump started my music career. His name was Rick. He took me from my waitressing job to recording an album of my original work. He became my c0-writer, producer and best friend. We recorded my first cd, Jodi Ann ~The Beginning, and we had many high hopes! One of my songs was recorded by a country artist and performed on the Late Show with David Letterman. We were going places!
We began work on the second album titled, A Brief Moment in Time. I am very sad to say that Rick passed away shortly after production. I took a little bit of time off to mourn the loss of my friend. I realized that he would have wanted me to get back in the swing of things. So I am. I wrote a special song for him titled, Just in Tennessee.
I am now at the point where I need to get the album recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced. I am seeking funding for this project!

Jodi Ann is a singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Michigan. She started to write poems at the age of 12, received her first guitar at age 8, but did not learn to play it until she was 24. Her first songs were poems to guitar noise at 18 that lead her down the road of singer/songwriter.

Jodi Ann was a well-known Karaoke DJ in Michigan and was a pre-opening act for Diamond Rio at the 1997 Michigan State fair.

Jodi Ann moved to Nashville in October 1998, with her first professional public performance at the famous Tootsies where was was introduced by country legend Dell Reeves. Other performances at the Bluebird Café and around Nashville rounded out a modest start to a potential career.

Jodi Ann saw a small break in meeting Rick Finney while waiting tables in Nashville, through those connections she has since recorded her first full length CD, The Beginning, and is currently working on another.

She has seen radio airplay in Sydney, Australia with dj Dukerider, in the England area on the Monday mix with Emma Cherry, in Northern Ireland on aiiradio with dj Yorkie and a few various stations across the US! She was the Featured artist! On Indie Charts, on Jan. 24th 2008 and won the Battle on the bands contest competing against bands from all genres of music!

Bonjour! Mon nom est Jodi Ann. Je suis auteur-compositrice et interprète de Nashville, TN. J’écris des chansons depuis l’âge de 12ans.
L’envie d’écrire m’es venue après une enfance difficile, la musique m’as permise d’évoquer mes sentiments. Je mène depuis une vie bien remplie avec peu de temps pour m’ennuyer.

Pourquoi quelle raison suis-je ici :

En 2007, j’ai rencontré un homme à Nashville, c’est le début de ma carrière musicale. Son prénom était Rick. Il me fit quitter mon métier de serveuse afin de me consacrer à la musique. Pour commencer l’enregistrement d’un album à partir de mes œuvres originales. Il est devenu mon co-auteur, producteur et meilleur ami. Nous avons enregistré un premier album qui s’intitule : Jodi Ann ~ The Beginning, nous avons eu beaucoup d’espoirs grâce à celui-ci ! Une de mes chansons a d’ailleurs été reprise par un artiste du pays qui a effectuée le Late Show avec David Letterman. Nous étions rentrés définitivement dans le monde de la musique !
Par la suite nous avons commencé à travailler sur le deuxième album intitulé : «A Brief Moment in Time ». Mais le décès de Rick juste après la production m’a beaucoup attristée. J’ai pris du temps afin de pleurer la perte de mon ami. J’ai compris qu’il aurait voulu que je continue, je suis donc là. J’ai entre autre écrit une chanson spécialement pour lui : « Just in Tennessee ». Mais pour cela il me faut pouvoir enregistrer, mixer, et produire celui-ci. Je suis à la recherche de finances pour ce projet qui compte beaucoup pour moi. Par avance je vous remercie participer à mon aventure.

Jodi Ann est une auteur/compositrice et interprète qui est né et à grandit dans le Michigan. Elle a commencé à écrire des poèmes à l’âge de 12ans, elle à reçue sa première guitare à l’âge de 8ans, mais n’as seulement appris à bien en jouer à 24ans. Ses premiers textes sont des poèmes avec un peu de guitare à 18ans, ce qui l’a conduite sur la route de chanteuse/compositrice.
Jodi-Ann était au célèbre DJ Karaokés dans le Michigan, et à agis pour Diamond Rio en 1997 au Michigan Stade Fair à l’ouverture. En octobre 1998 Jodi Ann à déménager à Nashville, et a introduit la légende du pays Dell Reeves à la célèbre Tootsies grâce à sa perfomance professionnelle face au public. Et également donné des spectacles au Bluebird Café près de Nashville qui lui permirent un début moins modeste dans sa carrière.
Elle a également posée pour Rick Finney qui avec l’argent lui a permis d’enregistrer son premier CD, et travaille actuellement sur un second.
Elle à déjà été diffusée à la radio à Sydney, en Australie, avec le DJ Dukerider en Angleterre sur le mélange du lundi avec Emma Cherry, en Irlande du Nord sur aiiradio avec DJ Yorkie, et sur différentes autres stations des USA ! Elle est devenue une vraie « vedette » ! Sur Indie Charts, le 24 janvier 2008 elle à remporté la bataille, face à de nombreux concurrents dans tous les genres de musique !
