BLUE
a biography,

as she sat there, writing her morning pages, sun painting moving pictures on her large desk , she suddenly realised her life was to explore a completely different creative path. Ten good years of successful architectural practice couldn’t change her mind. If she didn’t want to end up with pounding mouth angles, the radical plunge had to be taken now…!

Sure, she did develop her singin’ and entertainment skills in pop-rockband MASTERPEACE with whom she conquered various stages, but a pleasant hobby wouldn’t trick her ambitious mind. The vibes felt on jazzstudio summerstages were exactly the kind of groove she was looking for, but not just by covering those wonderful standards, no! Once again the lady had to do things her OWN way… aimée was born.

Fluently word sketches grew into poems, catching flavoured melodies swinging her body, songs found their rightful shape with the frank de wolf trio, a strong personal song cycle blossomed into a vivid live performance, impatient to be shared: BLUE first came to life in a theatre in Antwerp, august 2009.

Since that morning, BLUE has successfully explored its bluesy-jazzy-funky Mind Moving Music through Belgium.
aimée feels she’s on the right track now, exploring what life has to offer, from one day to another, hopefully crossing Yours some day soon?

A demo has been recorded as a BLUE-print of aimée.
