Fellows

Coming from different formations, they met through the internet. A common Friend directed Eric to Divi's Myspace page, who was looking for a singer in his new project. A few tryouts later, Fellows was born. They finally decided to go for Eric's compositions and, refusing to hide behind any electronic tricks, it seemed obvious to Make it acoustic. In July 2009, Laurent joined them on the percussions with a peculiar instrument, the Cajón, peruvian drumbox mainly used in flamenco...Fellows was then complete, ready to mix their various influences. The result is a Pop-Folk with rock accents and rhythms going from slow to groovy...Stories dressed up with music...

Issus d'horizons différents, c'est grâce à internet qu'ils se sont rencontrés. Un ami commun a dirigé Eric sur la page Myspace de Divi, alors à la recherche d'un chanteur pour son nouveau projet. Et quelques essais plus tard, Fellows était né.
Toutefois, c'est sur les compositions d'Eric qu'ils se sont finalement concentrés. Refusant de se cacher derrière des artifices, les instruments acoustiques se sont imposés à eux.
Et c'est en juillet 2009 que Laurent les rejoint aux percussions avec un instrument insolite, le Cajón, instrument péruvien utilisé principalement dans le flamenco...
Fellows était enfin au complet, prêt à mélanger les influences de ses différents membres. Le résultat est une Pop-Folk originale aux accents rock et aux rythmes tantôt groovy, tantôt lancinants; des histoires ornées de musique...
