The Uum
The Uum consists of Mary Ash (bass & vocals), Russian multi-instrumentalist/sound engineer Hamlet (guitar, vocals), Icey (guitar & electronics) and Art (drums). Poundingly plaintive and melodic basslines, bluesy doomscapes and timelessly contemporary nu new wave, well-versed in pop culture.
Then - in my childhood, in the dawn Of a most stormy life - was drawn From every depth of good and ill The mystery which binds me still.

Sinister silhouette on the threshold between dreaming and waking. With the fall of night, the child grows old. Doorway to death. Wholly innocent as day breaks. Yet never to forget.
