Matt Cadillac & the Shoots
The MATT CADILLAC & THE SHOOTS formed in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in early 2008 meeting between Fab (former drummer of Dangerous Bullet) and Mr.Dany (former bass of the Inverse, Lombard band). After several changes of line-up, the group took its final form with the entrance to the guitar before The Ice (formerly Dangerous Bullet), and then Matt Cadillac (formerly The Preachers) on guitar and vocals. The inspiration comes from the sound the Rolling Stones, Jet, Bob Dylan, AC / DC, The Beatles as well as major rock seventies, but the idea of doing something original musically led the group to develop and write rhythmic pieces from well-present, without giving a proper melodic propensity. After months of hard work in rehearsal, in May of 2009, Matt Cadillac & the Shoots come into the studio at the “FF Study of Federico Ferlin”, and begin to affect their pieces, giving birth to their first album "HIGHWAY OF ROCK ".
Album contains nine tracks, and that includes the union of styles and genres of each band member.
A special touch in making the album was definitely full collaboration of two great musicians, Mario "Harmonicaman" Bartoli, harmonica, which features collaborations with major international artists (James Brown) and Italian (Vic Vergeat, Jo Valeriano ... ..), and Vale "Tisla" girl, on backing vocals.
