Ext'inT
Maxime Duquesne is the young and talented composer, songwriter, and performer behind the Ext’inT name. A multidisciplinary artist, he majored in sculpture and performance/installations at top Brussels art schools.
Musically, at age 15, Maxime started experimenting with sound textures obtained by many objects, distortion, saturation, and natural elements. He continues his research through several installations, drawings and several other media, combining shapes and colors to eventually end up crafting an undeniably introvert environment.
In 2008 he single-handedly creates, with his instruments, his equipment, his voice and body, the indie-electronic album entitled "Ext'inT", a beautiful combination of the quiet expression of inner feelings and powerful emotional outbursts intended to touch the innermost part of the soul.
After releasing the album in 2009, he composes a live version with his bassist, Quentin Vasseur (http://www.myspace.com/otis...) and VJ Shiru (http://www.CreaComposite.net), resulting in a dynamic and thoroughly emotional performance.
Maxime is currently working on the next album of Ext'inT.
